Assembly FAQs

What if I’m missing a part?

We do our best to ensure every wooden playhouse arrives with all the necessary parts, but if something is missing:

1. Check the packaging thoroughly – Some smaller parts may be packed inside panels or accessories.

2. Compare with the instruction manual to confirm what’s missing.

3. Contact us at sales@outdoorplayhouse.co.uk with your order number and details of the missing part.

4. We’ll send out the replacement part as quickly as possible.

Can I assemble the playhouse alone?

While some smaller playhouses can be built solo, we highly recommend having two people for assembly. Larger models require lifting and securing heavy panels, making it safer and easier with help.

Do I need a professional to install it?

Our playhouses are designed for DIY assembly with clear step-by-step instructions, so most customers don’t need a professional. However, if you’d prefer assistance, hiring a local handyman or carpenter can make the process even smoother.

How do I secure the playhouse for windy conditions?

To keep your outdoor playhouse stable in windy areas:

  • Place it on a flat, solid surface like concrete, decking, or compacted ground.
  • Use ground anchors or brackets to secure it—these can be attached to the base.
  • Position the playhouse near a fence or wall for added protection.
  • Remove lightweight accessories (like fabric canopies) during extreme weather to prevent damage.
